Registration for Kindergarten is only for families who received an offer through the New York City Department of Education. If you missed the deadline to apply, please do not make an appointment. Q: What is the process for registering my student at PS 59?

A: Parents/Guardians must complete the appropriate forms listed below, and bring them to an in-person appointment at PS 59.

Q: How do I make a registration appointment?

A: Registration appointments will start on Tuesday, April 21st and end on June 12th. Note that most appointments will be on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings from 10:00am until 11:30am. Your child must accompany you to the appointment. Please click on this link to make an appointment.

Q: How long does this appointment take?

A: We're very quick, you should be done in less than 10 minutes!

Q: Does the prospective student need to attend this appointment?

A: Yes, they must attend the appointment with you. If they do not, we will not be able to pre-register your child.
