  • Q: Is PS 59 a zoned school?

    • A: Yes, PS 59 is a zoned school. Please use the NYCPS Find A School page to see if your student is eligible for enrollment.

  • Q: What is the process for registering my student at PS 59?

    • A: Parents/Guardians must complete the appropriate forms listed below, and bring them to an in-person appointment at PS 59.

  • Q: How do I make a registration appointment?

    • A: Before summer break each year, a registration window opens. If there is a link here, you may follow it to a Microsoft Bookings page where you can set an appointment. If you don't see a link, you can still make a mid-year registration appointment on a case-by-case basis by calling the main office at 212.888.7870
      and asking for Jhoven Rojas.​

  • Q: What information do I need to bring with me to the registration appointment?

    • A: We require your student's:​

      • completed registration forms (found below)

      • immunization records

      • two proofs of address*

      • birth certificate or passport

  • Q: How long does this appointment take?

    • A: We're very quick, you should be done in less than 10 minutes!

  • Q: Does the prospective student need to attend this appointment?

    • A: No, they do not need to attend.
